Rentals in Cambodia

Bikes, scooters, cars with drivers, kayaks and camping kit - checked before it reaches you, and booked through people we already work with.

In short

My Travel Factory arranges rental bikes, scooters, cars with drivers, kayaks and trekking kit across Cambodia, delivered to your hotel and collected from wherever you finish. We do not own the fleet - we book against local suppliers we already use on our own itineraries, which is why every listing ends at rates confirmed on enquiry rather than a number we cannot hold to.

How it works

Four steps, no deposit games

  1. 01

    Tell us what and when

Category, dates, your height for anything with a saddle, and where you start. That is enough for us to price it.

  2. 02

    We quote in writing

One rate covering hire, delivery, collection and what happens if something breaks. No separate insurance upsell at the counter.

  3. 03

    It arrives at your hotel

Delivered, adjusted and handed over in person. Bikes are fitted to you; scooters come with two helmets whether or not you ask.

  4. 04

    Drop it anywhere we operate

Finish in a different city from the one you started in. Tell us the route and we place the kit where you end.

Read this before you ride

Licences, deposits and insurance

Three things catch visitors out in Cambodia, and none of them is a secret. We would rather you read them here than learn them at a checkpoint.

  • Licences

The Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh states that international licences are not currently accepted in Cambodia, and that no licence is required for motorcycles of 125cc or smaller. Above that, and for any car, a Cambodian licence is the position we work to. We confirm the current rule in writing before every hire rather than repeating what a forum said.

  • Your passport stays with you

Some operators hold a passport as deposit. We do not work with them, and you should refuse it anywhere else. A card pre-authorisation or a cash deposit against a signed receipt is the normal, recoverable alternative.

  • Insurance

Most travel policies only cover a motorbike claim if you hold a motorcycle licence at home, whatever the engine size, and many exclude off-road riding entirely. Read your own policy wording. We will not tell you that you are covered, because only your insurer can.
