I came to Kampot to work on a pepper farm and ended up showing people around it. Now I do both. I can tell you why Kampot pepper tastes the way it does without turning it into a sales pitch, and I know the river well enough to say which hour of the afternoon is worth being on it. Bokor is a strange, misty, half-abandoned place and I enjoy taking people who like strange places.
