Koh Kong is where I am from and it is still quiet enough that you can spend a day on the river and see two other boats. I run kayak days through the mangrove channels and walks into the Cardamom foothills. It rains here more than the rest of the country, which is why it is green and why almost nobody comes in August. I rather like August.
