I am Bunong, from a village outside Sen Monorom, and I work with the elephant projects that do not let you ride. That is not a small distinction to me. A day with the elephants here means walking with them in the forest while they eat, which is less dramatic than a photograph on a saddle and much better for the elephant. I also lead overnight treks and can arrange a homestay in my own village.
