My family came back to Phnom Penh in 1980 and I have lived here ever since. I guide the memorial sites because I think they are better understood with someone beside you than alone with an audio guide, and because the people who tell you about that period should be from here. I also do a good line in Central Market, the old French quarter and where to eat at eleven at night. I guide in French as well, which I learned from my grandmother.
